A smart grid is a range of technologies that allow for more complex interactions between the utility and consumer. This book provides an introduction to smart grids. It is written at the community college level for a student planning on earning an A.A.S. in electronics engineering technology. The math used in the book is at the pre-calculus leve, but does use complex numbers to explain some A.C. (Alternating Current) concepts.
