The toolkit is made up of three elements:

1). information and resources to support your evaluation activities

2). an interactive tool to guide you through our Evaluation and Synthesis framework, providing an opportunity to submit findings, observations and links to evidence AND which feeds this back to you for inclusion in your project reporting mechanisms

3). examples of evaluation materials, instruments and reports from other UKOER projects

This is a copy of a consent form that we devised with an instructor on campus. The instructor was teaching a master's course in which participants were creating materials in groups. In order to expand access to the research that participants had done and to create a renewable assignment, the instructor invited the groups to convert the collected essays into an open educational resource for future course participants to expand on.

The instructor described the project and the concept of OER during a seminar meeting and gave students opportunities to ask questions about the project. She also made sure to emphasize that granting or withholding permissions would not affect people's course grades in any way.

Washington state has developed a set of civics assessments that are multi‐stepped tasks or projects aligned to specific state standards, which target skills and knowledge necessary for engaged, informed citizenship.

The purpose of this resource is to help students understand the connection between remote sensing, computer imagery, and land cover assessment. Students translate their maps created in the beginning activity into digital code and exchange the digitized versions of their maps with students in another school.

The purpose of this resource is to familiarize students with the importance of perspective and various scales of remotely sensed data. Students create a 3-D model of an area and develop a classification system for the landforms in their model. The maps can then be used to answer certain questions about the environment.

The OER Toolkit aims to improve equitable access to open learning resources and services to college students by providing a province-wide academic support platform for faculty to use while designing courses and assignments. The Toolkit is a one-stop guide to open educational resources, providing faculty and library staff with tools and information to understand, engage with, create, and sustain OER in their work and practice.

The Toolkit is designed to be used by anyone involved with OER at an academic institution, whether you are part of a team that is collaborating to create OER, a library staff member who is supporting OER development and use, an advocate for OER at your institution, or an instructor seeking to incorporate OER and open pedagogy in the classroom. This is a supplementary video for the Commonwealth of Learning Open Textbook Manual. It shows how to create Lessons in OER Commons. The OER Commons Lesson Builder allows instructors to create resources that are viewable by students as lessons, and by teachers as lesson plans with supplemental instructional resources.

Based on this model oral history experience, the toolkit includes instructional concepts, ideas, and strategies for use by educators to design a curriculum that reflects their instructional goals and the needs of their students while appreciating Vietnam veterans in their community.

This lesson is about ratios and proportions using candy boxes as well as a recipe for making candy as situations to be considered. It addresses many Mathematical Reasoning standards and asks students to: Use models to understand fractions and to solve ratio problems; think about a ratio as part/part model and to think about the pattern growing in equal groups or a unit composed of the sum of the parts; find a scale factor and apply it to a ratio. While using the desktop version, you can upload this .csv and the quiz is generated. Another excellent feature is to TELEPORT the questions from Pre-made quizzes. Click on teleport after cresting name of the quiz. On the right side of the screen you see that there are many quizzes opened and you can add a question to your quiz, just by clicking ADD.
